Chengkai International Campus is located on the outskirts of Nanchang capital of Jiangxi Province. The project consisted of a master plan for a residential and business community adjacent to a large university complex. In addition to master planning the entire project, KXA provided design development drawings for the first phase of the project which included low-rise and high-rise residential, as well as a community clubhouse and hotel. The design strived to promote a new Jiangxi culture by creating a “university living and learning district” modeled after classical Greek institutions. The first phase of the project was quite successful, selling out in less than one week.
