Designers wanted to take advantage of the natural surroundings in an otherwise urban area, so the intent was to create buildings that were in harmony with nature; that had a symbiotic relationship with their surroundings. Full use was made of the site and natural resources, while the unique natural characteristics of the site were protected and highlighted. Poly Xiangxue Mountain Village brings people and nature together through careful design and expert planning.
