The Luneng Confucian Temple Hotel is located near the city of Qufu in Shandong Province. The project is situated between the famous Confucius Temple on the west side and a luxury residential project on the east. The site itself has protected areas containing an ancient cottage and sacred trees under which Confucius, during his lifetime, would instruct his disciples. The design for the hotel project integrated a traditional Chinese landscaping approach, linking different areas of the project and creating serene spaces in which guests could contemplate the teachings of Confucius in a comfortable and pleasant leisure environment.
